At Alivestyle, we are really interested in musicians that not only speak a pertinent message to the people of our time, but that also “walk their talk” so to speak.  Anthony Singing Bear, so named by his mother, is once such creature whose music and message resonates from a deep spiritual place, while still coming across light and palatable.  In fact, we saw so many messages embedded in his new, and as of yet unreleased album “Gold”, that we knew we would have to include this guy in a music review here.

As we went further into the Singing Bear story, we saw a history of thinking and philosophy in his life that is what the revolutionaries of every generation have always been talking about.  Free will, reality creation, positive thinking, manifestation, facing fear, timeless music, embracing the mystery.  All of these themes and more are brilliantly laid out in this stunning album which is Singing Bear’s first official nationwide release to date.   With catchy hooks, brilliant poetry, and a very resonant, powerful, and sensual voice, Bear leaves an imprint on the musical landscape that is difficult to forget.  This album, although as of yet underground and mostly unknown, is sure to make an impact on those whose lives it will touch.  It may be more like a magical spell than a CD, affecting those who are open and ready to receive the message.   To listen to or buy the CD go to http://singingbearmusic.com
